Molly Sue Morris

Molly "Sue" Guest Morris passed peacefully into the arms of her Savior on Saturday, August 27, 2016. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 30th at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road, Abilene. Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 31 at The Hamil Family Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Elliott-Hamil Garden of Memories Cemetery. Sue was born in Abilene, Texas to Marcus and Beatrice Guest on August 19, 1941. She graduated from Abilene High School where her best friend introduced her to the love of her life, George Morris. They married on December 20, 1958, and lived in Michigan, Wyoming and Abilene during their 58 years of marriage. Sue was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. Sue was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Jacque Peele. Sue's family was her pride and joy. She is survived by her husband George Morris of Abilene; son Randy Morris and wife Dixie of Abilene, son David Morris of Midland, Texas; grandson, Marcus Morris and wife Tori of Keller, Texas; granddaughter Caitlin Morris of Dubai; foster great grandchildren, Jack Henry and Jordyn of Keller; sister, Betty Seabourn of Corsicana, Texas; brother, Richard Guest and wife Leta of Ranger, Texas; and numerous sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Marcus Morris, Roy Wayne Morris, Lanny Morris, Terry Drake, Sean McNeil & Joe Ramirez. The family would like to express their gratitude to Sharon Kelly, Doris Wilks and the staff of Hendrick Medical Center and Hendrick Hospice for their compassionate care.
