Misty Mashburn

Misty Michaela Mashburn, 30, of Abilene, passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2015 in Baird, Texas. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 pm, on Thursday January 22, 2015 at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road. Graveside services will be at 1:00 pm on Friday, January 23, 2015 at the Buffalo Gap Cemetery. Misty was born in Abilene, Texas to Debra Jobe and Charles Mashburn on November 7, 1984. Misty graduated from Cooper High School in 2003. She was also a student at Cisco Junior College. She was currently a manager for Mc Donald’s, where she has worked for 13 years. Misty loved her co-workers and joined them every year to raise money for Autism Speaks of Abilene. Her love for children extended far beyond her home. In her spare time, Misty enjoyed gardening and hanging out with her friends and family. Misty is survived by her son, Jadin Hunter; her boyfriend, Jeremy Wonnacott and his children Matthew and Marlie Wonnacott; one brother, Wesley Mashburn; two sisters, Lindsey Jobe and Julie Romero; parents, Billy and Debra Jobe; biological father, Charles Mashburn and grandparents, Charles W. and Jane Mashburn. Pallbearers will be Larry Jobe, Keban James, Robert Hillyard, T. J. Beason, Aron Myers and Nicolas Bandomo. Memorials may be given in Misty’s honor to Autism Speaks Foundation or Rescue the Animals of Abilene.
