Misty Nicole (Leonard) Bigham (43) of Abilene, Texas went home to be with her Lord and Savior on February 3, 2024.
Visitation will be 4-6pm on Wednesday, February 7 at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road.
Funeral services will be held at 10am, Thursday, February 8 at Wylie Methodist Church, 3430 Antilley Road, with Jeff Hatcher officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Memorial Park, 5750 US Hwy 277.
Misty was born in Abilene to Jim and Cheryl Leonard on April 18, 1980. She graduated from Abilene Christian High School in 1999. She married her high school sweetheart, Rob Bigham, in November 2003 and they were blessed with three children. She was a licensed insurance agent, worked at local preschools, and had a pet sitting business. Misty loved the Lord, her family, and all animals. She was a peacekeeper and very kind-hearted, unless you disagreed with her on politics, which she followed avidly.
Misty was preceded in death by grandparents Alvin and Faye Prigmore, Jack and Myrna Leonard and father-in-law Buford Bigham.
Misty is survived by husband Rob Bigham, children Stetson, Pearce, and Taryn Bigham, parents Jim and Cheryl Leonard, mother-in-law Pat (Vestal) Richey, sister-in-law Laurie (Steve) McKay, special great-aunt “Mimi” Marilyn Smith, life-long friend Crystal Hernandez Canada, and numerous family, friends, and friends who are like family that are too numerous to mention. She will be forever missed and always remembered.
Pallbearers will be Eddie Mitchell, Taylor Mobley, Casey Morris, Dale Morris, Marshall Morris, Kevin Parsley, Gustavo Santiago Hector Soto, Scott Stone, Gary Webb, and Richard Whipple.
Memorials may be made to Houses for Healing, Ben Richey Boys Ranch, or New Horizons.
