Minnie Marie Richardson

1912 — November 21, 2005

Minnie Richardson, 93, passed away Monday, November 21, 2005 at a local nursing center. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Friday, November 25, 2005 at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road. Burial will follow at Elmwood Memorial Park. Minnie was born on January 26, 1912 in Santa Anna, Texas to Pete & Mattie Williams. She graduated from Santa Ann High School in May of 1928. Minnie married George Richardson on May 25, 1929. She has been a resident of Abilene since the early 1950's. She was also a member of the South 14th & Oak Church of Christ. Minnie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband George W. Richardson on June 8, 1995, three brothers and three sisters. She is survived by her son Darrell and his wife Rena Richardson of Abilene, two granddaughters and their husbands, Kathey and Doug Freeman of San Antonio, Karen and Gary Freeman of San Antonio, one grandson and his wife Darrell and Jennifer Richardson of Abilene; and five great-grandchildren, Michelle Woodall, Lisa Davis and her husband Lance, Adam Freeman and his wife Sarrah, Joshua Freeman and Elizabeth Freeman. The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks for the loving care given by the staff at Sears Methodist Nursing Center. Memorials may be made in honor of Minnie to Sears Methodist Nursing Center, 3202 South Willis, Abilene, Texas 79605.
