Mildred M. Templeton

Mildred M. Templeton, age 77, of Harbor Point in Brown County, died Saturday, July 30, 2005 at Hendrick Medical Systems. Graveside funeral service will be held Saturday, August 6, 2005 @ 11:00 a.m. at The Potosi Cemetery under the direction of The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Rd. Mildred Smith Templeton was born on December 18, 1927 in Abilene, Texas to parents James Amasa Smith and Bessie Savell Smith. She worked as a secretary for the Department of Transportation and moved to this area twenty-two years ago from Alaska. Mildred was involved with the Brownwood American Legion, the Harbor Point Volunteer Fire Department and their Booster Club – The Sparkettes. Mildred was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, James Meador Templeton who passed away in 1976. Mildred is survived and lovingly remembered by her three sons: Barry Templeton, Jeff Templeton and Roger Templeton; one daughter: Linda Kinney; and one brother: J.W. Smith. Also 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital.
