Michael Mason Oden

Michael Mason Oden Michael Oden, 44, passed away Wednesday in Abilene. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, March 13, 2006 at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road. William Tate and Jim Clark will officiate. Michael was born in Abilene on July 6, 1961 to Mason Oden and Mary (Starnes) Oden. He graduated from Abilene High School and attended Abilene Christian University. Michael was a member of the Professional Bowlers Association Hall of Fame. He was a member of Hamby Church of Christ. Michael was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charue and Alma Starnes, and his parents, Mason and Mary Oden. He is survived by his daughter Lori Grothaus and her husband Raymond, of Abilene, and his sister, Carol Riordan of Oceanside, New York.
