Michael McDonald

Michael “Mike” Wayne McDonald, 62, of Abilene, passed away on Monday, September 30, 2024, in Abilene.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, October 7, 2024, at The Hamil Family Funeral Home Chapel, 6449 Buffalo Gap Rd., with Jansen McDonald officiating.

Mike was born in Coleman, Texas to Joyce (Mills) and Billy McDonald on January 2, 1962. He graduated from Wylie High School in 1981. He worked for Bobcat of Abilene for many years delivering heavy equipment and machinery. Mike enjoyed trips with his brother and sisters, and spoiling his nieces and nephews.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Joyce and Billy McDonald.

He is survived by his four sibling; Doug and Glenda McMahan of Mansfield, Charles and Debbie Ford of Austin, Terry and Glenda McDonald of Tuscola, and Philip and Pam Ulcak of Midland; his nieces and nephews, Chad and Christi Martin, Jason and Cassie Handlin, Kyle and Mia Ford, Shay and Shelby Long, Jansen and Emily McDonald, Matthew and Savannah Ulcak, Austin and Cylie Ulcak, and Weston and Madison Langford; Mike is also survived by many great nieces and nephews.
