Michael E. Farha

Michael E. Farha, 46, of Abilene, passed away on Saturday, January 30th in Dallas, TX. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Friday, February 5th at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road, Abilene. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 6th at Beltway Park Church, 4009 Beltway South. Burial will follow at Elmwood Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of The Hamil Family Funeral Home. Michael was born in Midland to Emile and Leslie Thurmond Farha on September 28, 1969. He was a graduate of Midland High School. Michael married Jennifer Glynn Foster on November 18, 1995. He started his career with Thomas Hicks Construction, and eventually owned Ironman Metal Works in Lewisville, Texas. Most recently he was employed with Sojourner Drilling in Abilene as a welder. Michael is survived by his wife; Jennifer Farha of Abilene; one son, Alex Farha; three daughters, Lindley, Grace and Faith Farha all of Abilene; one sister, Amy Farha of Purcell, Oklahoma; his mother, Leslie Thurmond of Purcell, Oklahoma; his father, Emile Farha of Edmond, Oklahoma; five nephews and two nieces. Memorial contributions may be made to the Fort Worth Ronald McDonald House.
