Michael Scott Cocke

Michael Scott Cocke, 58, died Friday, July 20, 2018 in Dallas, Texas.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00PM Thursday, July 26, 2018 at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road, Abilene.  Pastor Geoffrey Turner will officiate.

The son of William Frank Cocke and Barbara Ann (Lane) Cocke, he was born on July 20, 1960 in Shreveport, Louisiana.  He owned and operated the Total Animal in California, and in 2009 moved from Sacramento, California to Abilene.  In Abilene he worked for Lowe’s in the Garden Center.

His mother, Barbara Ann Cocke, died July 20, 2018.

Michael is survived by his father, William F. Cocke of Shreveport, Louisiana; two brothers, William L. Cocke and John S. Cocke both of San Francisco, California; a sister, Karen Lott and Johnny of Abilene; and one niece, Samantha Lott of Abilene.
