Mary Frances Motes of Abilene, called "Grandma" by everyone that met her, passed peacefully into heaven on Saturday, June 8th 2013.
Mary Frances was born December 6, 1932 to Eldon and Jewell Renfro of Cross Plains, Texas. Mary Frances married Dewayne Max Motes on December 6, 1959 in Abilene, Texas.
She was employed by Timex Corporation for 15 years and then went to work for Texas Instruments. She retired from Texas Instruments in 1990 then she started a second career in customer service for 5 years with Big Lots.
Mary Frances was preceeded in death by her parents, one brother; Truitt Renfro, her husband Dwayne; her sister-in-law Sylvia Renfro; and most recently her grandson Joshua Hill in May 2013. She is survived by two daughters, Marsha and husband James Hill of Abilene; Melinda and husband Randy Rifenburgh of Albany; one son, David and wife Tracy of Abilene; two brothers, Robert and wife Martha Renfro; Eldon Earl Renfro of Abilene; one sister Wanda and husband Tommy Woody of Huntington; ten grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at Elmwood Memorial Park on Tuesday, June 11th at 11:00 am. The Family will recieve friends from 5:00 to 6:00 pm on Monday, June 10, 2013 at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road.
