Mary V. Flores, 60, of Abilene, Texas entered the gates of her Heavenly home on Monday, July 1, 2013.
Mary was born on July 20, 1952 in Seymour, Texas to Jessie and Petra Valdez. She married Valentino Flores in Abilene on May 7, 1974. They shared a wonderful and loving 39 long years together. She was his “Sweetie” and they were inseparable.
Mary was a beautiful woman of God inside and out. She loved the Lord with all her heart. To know her was to love her. She was a selfless being who put other’s needs before her own. She was always giving and never expected anything in return. She was the #1 baseball/softball fan for her grandchildren, not to mention the loudest fan. She was a Texas Ranger fan, Dallas Cowboy fan, and loved to follow the Abilene High Eagles wherever they went. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend to many.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Petra Valdez, and her brother, David Valdez.
