Mary T. Clark

Mary T. Clark, 93, died Tuesday, March 20, 2018 in Abilene, Texas. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00PM Thursday, March 22, at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road, Abilene. Services will be 2:00PM Friday, March 23, in The Hamil Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rick Grant of Wylie Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Memorial Park. Mary was born in Taylor County, Texas to Maurice and Effie Carter on May 17, 1924. She attended school in the Mulberry Creek Community. Mary married Edward A. Clark on July 4, 1941 in Liberal, Kansas. She was a homemaker and in later years worked at Maxwell Golf Course. As a pastor's wife she was always involved in their churches. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, four sisters, three brothers, and her grandson David Clark. Mary is survived by her sons, Dean Clark and wife Carol, Wayne Clark and Debbie, and Gary Shannon, as well as seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Serving as pallbearers will be Randy Clark, Hollie Taylor, Howard Taylor, Dean Clark II, Mike Chastain and Nick Clark. Memorials may be made to Wylie Baptist Church, 6097 Buffalo Gap Road, Abilene, TX 79606. The family of Mary T.
