Mary N. Caldwell, 88, of Abilene passed away on Thursday, Dec. 31st, 2015 in Abilene, Texas.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at the Texas State Veteran's Cemetery at Abilene
with Gayle Potter officiating. Arrangements are by the Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road, Abilene.
Mary Caldwell was born in Domingo, NM to Cresencio Martinez and Dominga Romero on 9-18-1927. She went to school
in Bernalillo, NM. She married Charles C. Caldwell on 12-20-1949 in Desoto County, Mississippi. She was a loving wife, mother
and homemaker.
Mary Caldwell was preceded in death by her parents, and three sisters: Rosa Martinez, Antonia Larribas, and Josie Martinez.
Mary Caldwell is survived by her spouse of 66 years, Charles Caldwell; daughter, Mary Claudine and Doug Beltz of Albuquerque, MN; Charles Caldwell, Jr. of Jackson, TN and Janet and Johnny Neidholt of Alba, Texas; brother, Robert J. Martinez and wife Estella; grandson, Charles Ryan Jaquess and Tori Jaquess of Wylie, TX; step-grandson, James
and Samantha Neidholt of Alba, TX; step-granddaughter, Stefanie and Paul Slatter of Oakwood, TX; and four great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be: Doug Beltz, Charles Ryan Jaquess, Johnny Neidholt, Mark Caldwell, Roy Dixon, Richard McCollough.
Memorials may be given to The Shriner's Childrens Hospital, 6977 Main St., Houston, TX 77030-3701; or a charity of your choice. The family wishes to
