Mary Booe

Ashes to ashes and dust to dust. West Texas lost a desert beauty this week Mary Booe was born November 21, 1949 in Midland, Texas. She died June 23, 2015 in Abilene, Texas. She is loved and missed by her husband of 45 years, Ken Booe; two daughters, Merrie Booe and Crissy Booe; one granddaughter, Deni Booe; and brother, Dicky Venator. Mary and Ken’s love story began in 1969 and continues to this day. Never separated in life, they will not be separated in death. Mary’s ashes will be kept until Ken joins her, and their combined ashes will be spread across the West Texas desert they love. A celebration of Mary’s life will be held Sunday, June 28, at 3:00 p.m. at Wylie Baptist Church with Rev. Donny Harbers officiating, directed by The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Rd. in Abilene. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
