Mary Louise Anderson

Mary L. Anderson, 101 years old, passed from this life on Sunday, December 31, 2017.  She was born the daughter of pioneers, J.D. & Etta Moore, on August 24, 1916 in Abilene.  Mrs. Anderson graduated from Abilene High School and attended Abilene Christian College where she met Lloyd A. Anderson. They married and lived in Abilene where Lloyd worked with Mr. Moore in the family trucking company that operated in Abilene for over a 100 years.  

Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd and two sons, Harry C. and James L. Anderson.  She is survived by son, Evan W. Anderson, daughters-in-law, Nancy Anderson and Cynthia Anderson.  She is also survived by four grandchildren, Mike Anderson and wife Yvonne, Nan Graham and husband George, Mindy Butler and husband Scott and Stephanie Sammon; along with nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.  

Graveside services will be at 1:30 pm on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at the family plot in Elmwood Memorial Park.  Services are under the direction of The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road.
