Martha Lou Wolff

Martha Lou Wolff, 90, died Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at an Abilene medical center. Born in Tucson, Arizona on August 11, 1922, Martha Lou was the daughter of the late Zora (Lynch) and Edgar Rodgers. Mrs. Wolff was a homemaker, and for the past 67 years had been a resident of Abilene, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred H. Wolff, Sr. in 2008. Mrs. Wolff is survived by one son, Alfred Wolff and his wife Judy of Lubbock, Texas; one daughter, Zoanne Pitts and her husband Tommy of Wylie, Texas; and five grandchildren. A viewing will be held from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. today, Thursday, August 16, at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road. No service will be scheduled. At the request of Mrs. Wolff, her body will be donated to Texas Tech Medical School in Lubbock. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the donor's charity of choice.
