Marshall Edward Boykin, III, died peacefully in Hospice care at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene on Sunday, May 1. Marshall was born in Abilene, Texas on January 11, 1972 and was a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He was the owner of Marshall Edward Design and Building Company in Ft. Worth. He was preceded in death by his parents Leslie and Eddie Boykin. Survivors include his sisters, Sheryl Jenkins of Richmond, Virginia and Kathryn Williams of Abilene; aunts and uncles Jeannette and Jim Boykin of LaJolla, California and Betty and John Oglesbee of San Augustine, Texas; two nephews and six cousins, as well as many friends.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 28, 2011 at Trinity Episcopal Church, 3401 Bellaire Drive South, Ft. Worth, Texas 76109.
A second memorial service will be held to celebrate his life at 3:00 pm on Saturday, June 4, 2011 at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road, Abilene, Texas.
