Marsha was born in El Centro, California to Knolie and Isabella Fenner on October 7, 1951. She went to school at Central Catholic High School in Abilene and married Dwayne Marrs on August 21, 1971. She and her family own Belle's Chicken Dinner House in Abilene and also owned Southern Belle restaurant in the mid 1980s.
Mom was Valedictorian of her senior class and loved to crunch numbers which she put to good use at Belle's and many other businesses throughout the years. Reading and watching movies were some of her favorite pastimes. Often, we would spend hours with mom quoting lines from movies and laughing.
Mom loved to sing and some of her favorite memories were from her time in the high school choir. She would regale the family in stories of their adventures on road trips going to choral contests. She even portrayed Mrs. McAfee in Central Catholic's production of the musical Bye Bye Birdie. As a teenager she played organ at St. Vincent Catholic Church and would play piano at home. Her favorite song to play was Clair de Lune.
Marsha was preceded in death by her parents Knolie and Isabella and her nephew Matthew.
Marsha is survived by her husband Dwayne, her daughter Jennifer and husband Gregg, her son Ryan and her son Cory and wife Valerie, her brother Patrick and wife Debra. She was a devoted grandmother to Henry and a loving aunt to Stephanie, Astin, Tracy, Lacy, Cacy, Aaron, Brad, Heather, John-Michael and Matthew.
