Mark Todd Daniel Moss

Mark Todd Daniel Moss, 56, of Abilene, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2018.  Funeral services will be at 3:00 pm on Saturday, May 5th at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road.  Cory Graham will officiate.  Memories will be shared by Tony Terry, Doug Simmons, Cyndi Rusnak and Paige Moss. Todd will be laid to rest next to his grandparents, Herman and Naomi Mayfield, in the Roby Cemetery at a later date.

Todd was born August 11, 1961 in Sweetwater, Texas to Danny Daniel and Grace Marie Mayfield.  He grew up in Roby, Texas and attended Roby United Methodist Church.  Todd graduated from high school in Fort Washington, Maryland. He served in the United States Navy. Todd has lived in Abilene for over two decades.  He was a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys.

Todd is survived by his mother, Grace Marie Moss, of Abilene; second-father, Robert E. Moss of Washington, DC; his son, Danny James “D.J.” Daniel of Boca Raton, Florida; sisters, Cyndi Moss Rusnak and husband Gary and their children, Taylor and Connor, of Spring, TX and Paige Moss and husband Rick and their daughter, Dorian Grace, of Los Angeles, CA; aunts, Peggy Graham of San Antonio, TX and Nancy Daniel of California; uncle, Commander Sidney Graham, U.S. Navy (Ret.) of San Antonio, TX; cousins, Tracy Goetz and Doug Graham, both of San Antonio, TX and Shannon Speak of Nevada, as well as numerous other cousins.

The family requests no black attire. Instead please represent our devoted Dallas Cowboy by wearing something Dallas Cowboy related, if you have it. If not, we will have something there.

Memorials may be made in Todd’s honor to Hendrick Hospice Care.
