Marjorie Cloud, 63, of Abilene, passed away Monday, October 9, 2017. Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road. Rev. Donita Lea of St. James United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will follow in Elmwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Marjorie was born November 13, 1953 in Abilene, Texas to Aldone and Noma (Leslie) McIntyre. She lived in the Abilene and Clyde area for her entire life, graduating from Clyde High School. Marjorie received her Bachelor's degree from McMurry University and her Master's degree from Abilene Christian University. Since April of 2000, Marjorie worked in the donor relations department at the West Texas Rehabilitation Center. Her family and the WTRC were the center of her life. She loved weekend trips to Fredericksburg with her friend, Rhonda. Marjorie was a member of St. James United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents. Marjorie is survived by two sons, Jeremy Cloud and wife Shannon of Ovalo, Derrick Cloud of Abilene; one daughter, Maggie Roszkowski and husband Brian of Clyde; two sisters, Jean Elizarde and husband Joe of San Marcos, Donna Wright and husband Lonnie of Blackwell; five grandchildren, Kathryn and Jacob Cloud, Alex, Kayden and Andrew Roszkowski; several nieces and nephews; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews; several cousins, as well as her beloved dog, Angel.
