Marieta Faye Henry

Marieta Faye Henry, 77, of Abilene, passed away Sunday, May 11, 2014 at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. A Rosary will be held at 1:00 pm, followed by funeral services at 2:00 pm on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road. Father Sam Matthiesen will officiate. Burial will follow in Elmwood Memorial Park. Marieta was born in Abilene, TX, to Andrew Odine Tucker and Lila Mae Vestel on March 1, 1937. She went to school at St. Joseph’s Academy in Abilene, TX. She married Richard “Dick” Morris Henry on July 12, 1955 in Abilene, TX. Marieta was owner/operator of Stephens Rubber Stamp. She was preceded in death by her parents. Marieta is survived by her husband, Dick Henry of Abilene; six children, Catherine Stephens of Dallas, TX, Donna Henry of Dallas, William Henry and wife Jean of Coppell, TX, Paul Henry and wife Linda of Austin, TX, Lisa El-Attrache and husband David of Colleyville, TX, and Jennifer Henry of Okinawa, Japan; eight siblings, Patsy Luper of Abilene, Keith Tucker and wife Shirley of Potosi, Lorna Harrison and husband Chuck of Potosi, Drew Tucker and wife Maureen of Norman, Oklahoma, Carolyn Harvey of Houston, TX, Glenda Keys and husband John of Dallas, TX, Brenda Harrison and husband Phil of Abilene, and Becky Franklin and husband Larry of Abilene; six grandchildren, Michelle Magee and husband Brian of Plano, TX, Toni Goodson and husband James of Abilene, Caitlin Henry of Coppell, TX, Jarrod Henry of Dallas, TX, Tara Henry of Austin, TX and Brett Henry of Coppell, TX; two great-grandchildren, Aiden Magee and Bryce Goodson.
