Margaret Lucile Kincannon

Margaret Lucile Kincannon passed away in Plano, Texas Wednesday, August 8, 2007 at the age of 90. A private graveside service will be held at Elmwood Memorial Park, under the direction of The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road. September 12, 1916, Margaret was born in Alliance, Nebraska. She grew up and graduated high school in Duncan, Oklahoma. March 9, 1935, Margaret married Mixson Kincannon in Lawton, Oklahoma. In 1948, she moved to Abilene from Illinois. For 25 years (1954 to 1979), she taught the private kindergarten class at St. Paul United Methodist Church. Margaret retired from Grissom's Department Store after 19 years of employment. She moved to Allen, Texas in 1996 to be near her family. Margaret was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester Hendrix and Opal Hendrix-Jenkins, and her husband. She is survived by two daughters, Mary Kincannon Pyland, of Allen, Texas, and Carole Kincannon Davidson of Garland, Texas; and five grandchildren, Tracy Bridges, Molly Grimes, James Pray, Greg Davidson and Tammy Sherman.
