Madison Sofia Henderson

Madison Sofia Henderson was born December, 14, 2000 and passed away from injuries sustained in a car accident on October, 20, 2021.

If you knew Madison, you loved her, and she loved you right back. She recently graduated with a Bachelor of Psychology from Texas Tech University. Her two mission trips to Mexico and New Orleans, with Beltway Park Church, were powerful motivators for her ambitious plans to travel the world and make it a better place to live. She was especially drawn to the underdogs in need of an understanding friend.

Madison loved to celebrate; we are grieving but this is a moment of celebration more than grief. We will see her again, when we join her and her Savior in heaven.

Madison was preceded in death by her uncle, Alan Thomas Henderson, her cousin, Autumn Elizabeth French and her great uncle, David W. Duboe. She is survived by her brother Nolan Thomas Henderson, her parents Natasha and Grady Henderson, grandparents Chris and Joe Birch/ Deanna and Leroy Henderson/ Caridad Mendez and numerous extended family members who will miss her deeply.

A celebration of her life is planned for 2:00 pm on Tuesday, October 26 at Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road, Abilene, Texas.
