Louise Gretner

Frances Louise "Aunny" Gretner, 94, passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2013 in Abilene, Texas. Graveside services will be held Friday, October 25, at 2:00 p.m. in Elmwood Memorial Park in the Garden of Remembrance with Dr. Jeff Reid officiating, directed by The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road in Abilene. Aunny was born November 5th, 1918 in Temple, Texas to Louis and Melisa See. She retired in 1974 as a Civil Service employee with the Comptroller’s Office at Kelly AFB, San Antonio, Texas. Aunny moved to Abilene in 1984. She enjoyed playing solitaire, reading books and following Cooper Softball where later she got to watch her great-granddaughters play as Cougars. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Raymond and Carl See. Survivors include her daughter, Sandra Cornell; granddaughter, Tracy Martin and husband Ty Martin; two great-granddaughters, Courtney Reynolds and Billy Jackson, and Megan Coston and Dustin Flye; three great-great-grandchildren, Logan Wyatt, Addison Jackson and Kamron Flye.
