Louise Craig Bledsoe

Louise Craig Bledsoe, of Abilene, died Sunday, December 16, 2007 at the age of 93. Graveside services, with Rev. Robert C. Pelfrey officiating, will be at 10:00 am on Tuesday, December 18, at Elmwood Memorial Park, in the Garden of Peace. Viewing will be today, Monday, December 17 from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road. Louise was born December 11, 1914 in Blackwell, Texas. She was a resident of the Abilene area most of her life. Louise was a homemaker and a charter member of Elmwood West United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.J. Bledsoe, in May of 1968. Louise is survived by three sons, Don Bledsoe and his wife Jo, of Abilene, Lee Bledsoe and his wife Eidie, also of Abilene, and Joe Johnson and his wife Jo Ann, of Dallas. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made in Louise Bledsoe's honor to Sears Methodist Hospice Care, 3233 South Willis, Abilene, Texas 79605 or to the donor's favorite charity.
