Lois Louise Carby Marsh, 88, of Abilene, Texas, passed away on February 11, 2024, with her loving family by her side in Abilene, Texas.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on February 16, 2024, at The Oldham Lane Church of Christ with Blake Dozier of Oldham Lane Church of Christ), officiating.
Graveside for the family following at 2:00 p.m. on February 16, 2024 at the Lake View Cemetery at Winters, Texas. Services are under the direction of The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road.
Lois was born in Houston, Texas to Albert Werner Wilhelm Carby and Mae Constance Oeding Carby on August 2, 1935. She started school in a two-room schoolhouse at Swiss Alp, Texas and a few months later moved to Bishop, Texas. She graduated from Bishop High School and was a talented musician in the band, played piano and sang in the All-State chorus as a soprano. She also attended Texas Lutheran Business College at Seguin, Texas. She married Herbert Rhea (Ray) Marsh on September 10,1956 in Houston, Texas. His career with the J. C. Penney Company took them to live all over the state of Texas. They lived to celebrate their lovely 60th wedding anniversary. She worked in the business world after college. She was involved in serving others at church.
Lois was preceded in death by her mother, Mae Carby, and father, Werner Carby and husband, Ray Marsh.
Lois is survived by Herbert Rhea (Bud) Marsh, Jr., (Cheri), Rhonda Kruse,(Roger), sister, Marjorie Schulze and sister, Nathalie Aduddell and her grandchildren Steven Kruse (Kaylee), Michelle Whisenhunt (Michael), Christy Kruse, and great-grandchildren, Emmalee Kruse, Raylon Kruse, Levi Whisenhunt, Lane Whisenhunt and Lilly Whisenhunt, and many wonderful nieces and nephews and their families
Honorary pallbearers will be Steven Kruse, Raylon Kruse, Michael Whisenhunt, Levi Whisenhunt, Lane Whisenhunt, Brad Aduddell, Troy Aduddell, Randy Schulze, Glen Schulze,
