Lisa Lambert

Lisa Lambert, 58, died Tuesday, August 28, 2012 in Abilene, Texas. The daughter of the late Frances (Boling) and Don Dennis Simmons, Lisa was born on August 30, 1953 in Clifton, Arizona. She moved from Farmington, New Mexico to Abilene 21 years ago. She was employed at Abilene State Supported Living Center as a medical records clerk. She was a Christian. Lisa married Jason Lee Lambert on July 8, 2006 in Abilene. Survivors include her husband, Jason Lambert of Abilene; four sons and their spouses, Doug Hickson and Georgia of Abilene, and Bill Hickson and Christina, Chris Hickson and Valerie, and Devon Hickson and Jennifer all of Phoenix, Arizona; and six grandchildren, Riley Hickson, Lola Hickson, Mack Hickson, Laylah Hickson, Elise Hickson and Samuel Hickson. Lisa is also survived by four brothers, Ron Simmons of Safford, Arizona, Jon Simmons of Long Beach, California, Donnie Simmons of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Robert Simmons of Red Mesa, Colorado, as well as several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, September 3, at The Hamil Family Funeral Home Chapel, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road, prior to a funeral service to be held at 7:00 p.m. Bill Spencer will officiate.
