Linda Kaye Schulle, 83, of Abilene, passed away on Tuesday February 25th, 2025 in Abilene, TX.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday February 28th at The Hamil Family Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday March 1st at The Hamil Family Funeral Home with John Fanning officiating. Services are under the direction of The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road.
Linda was born in Houston, Texas to Gene and Jeane Thompson Blackley on July 31st, 1941. She graduated from Wylie High School in 1959. She worked as an executive secretary for most of her career.
She married the love of her life, Joe Rex Schulle, on February 9, 1958. They were married for 63 years. Together they raised three children and proudly welcomed four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren to the family.
Linda’s family was her pride and joy. She was an excellent cook and loved nothing more than having her whole family together to enjoy the meals she made. She never said no to holding a baby, especially when it came to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Linda enjoyed monthly meals with her group of friends from Wylie, who kept in touch since graduation. She will be remembered for the loving and caring heart she had for her family and friends.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents; husband Joe Schulle; sister Nona Hutchinson; and daughter Tana Schulle.
Linda is survived by her son B.J. Schulle and wife Michele; son Kevin Schulle and wife Rachael; sister Llana Hoffman and husband Steve; four grandchildren and spouses, Casey Schulle, Jarrett Schulle and Laura, Bryan Schulle and Madeline, and Ashlyn Carmichael and Brandon; and five great-grandchildren, Allisyn, Jaxon, Elinor, Oliver, and Asher.
