Linda Kay Wistl Holt of Abilene passed away on June 3, 2012 at her home.
A Celebration of Life remembrance will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at North Park Baptist Church in the fellowship hall, located at 1525 Anson Ave, Abilene, Texas. Arrangements are being made by The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road.
Linda was born in St. Paul, MN to John and Jo Dean Wistl on September 3, 1947. She grew up in Abilene and later married Dennis Holt on April 4, 1970. She and Dennis have two daughters, Amanda Thompson of Austin and Erin (Cricket) Blake of Colorado Springs, CO. For the last 17 years of her life Linda worked at the Abilene Health Department.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents John and Jo Dean Wistl, her brother-in-law, Gary Holt, her father-in-law Howard Holt, and her father-in-law Wayne Pitcock.
She is survived by her husband Dennis; her daughter Amanda Thompson and husband Blake, and daughter Erin Blake and husband Nick; her brother John Wistl; her sister Michelle Wilkes; her three grandchildren Jack Thompson, Katherine Thompson and Bailey Blake; her mother-in-law Bette Pitcock, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Linda loved gardening, reading and loving on her grandchildren.
