Letha Nell Bradshaw

Letha Nell Bradshaw, 80, died Thursday, April 13, 2017 in Abilene, Texas. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, April 15, at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road, Abilene. Graveside services will follow at 2:00 p.m. Saturday in Potosi Cemetery. Nell was born in Abilene, Texas, to Mart and Zettie Parker on September 25, 1936. She attended Wylie High School and graduated in 1956. She was married to Carl D. Bradshaw on May 3, 1956 in Abilene. Nell worked for Wylie Schools for 33 years. She loved her God, and enjoyed her friends, grandchildren and loved ones so much. Nell loved to paint and sew. She also loved working in her yard and taking care of Samson. Nell was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Carl; her mother and father; and two brothers, Lloyd Parker and Ernest Parker. Survivors include her son, Carl Wayne Bradshaw and wife Dwana; daughter, Kim McMillan and husband Mark; two sisters, Hazel Vrabel and Nancy Sanford and husband Wayne; a brother, Leon Parker; six grandchildren, Luke, Cole, Guy, Whitney, Kelbie and Carlee; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
