Lesa Lynn Haley Windham, 48, of Abilene, died Thursday, October 19, 2006. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, October 23 at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road. Burial will follow in Terrace Cemetery in Post, Texas.
Lesa was born on February 19, 1958 in Lubbock, Texas to J.M. and Jesse (Beard) Haley. She graduated from Post High School and married Danny Windham on April 17, 1976. Lesa worked as a processing clerk for the United States Post Office. She moved to Abilene in 1995 from Post, Texas. Lesa was a Baptist.
Lesa is survived by her parents, J.M and Jesse Haley of Lubbock; her husband, Danny Windham of Abilene; one son Brant Windham and his wife Andrea of Portland, Texas; one daughter Shauna Windham of Mexia, Texas; one brother-in-law Jerry Windham and his wife Melanie of Post, Texas; one sister-in-law Wyanza Basinger and her husband Bruce of Slaton, Texas; father-in-law and mother-in-law Everett "Heavy" and Mary Windham of Post; one sister Karen Burns and her husband Fred of Pine Ridge, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Raiden, Everette, Trinity and Cashton; numerous, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
