Lee Louise McLaren

Lee Louise McLaren, 85, of Abilene, Texas passed away on Monday, January 22, 2018, in Abilene, Texas. Graveside services will be at 2:00PM on Thursday, January 25, in Elmwood Memorial Park Garden of Memories with The Rev. Amy Feltz officiating. Services are under the direction of The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road, Abilene. Louise was born in Abilene, Texas, on May 15, 1932, to Sam and Mary (Holley) Jennings. She graduated from Abilene High School in 1951. She married Bill McLaren of Anson in Fort Worth, Texas, on November 11, 1960. She worked as a telephone operator for Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. for many years. She was a member of Aldersgate United Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Sam and Don Jennings, and one sister Doris LaCroix. She is survived by her husband Bill McLaren of Abilene.
