Larry D. Cole

Larry D. Cole was born in Stamford, Texas March 24, 1940 and was promoted to Heaven November 2, 2012. Larry enjoyed retirement years in Cleveland, Tennessee and was formerly a resident of Abilene, Texas. Larry graduated from Abilene High School and attended Hardin Simmons University. Larry is survived by his devoted wife of 51 years Mary J. Cole, son Calvin N. Cole, LaDonna D. Cole, and grandchildren Dayla Jenan and Calvin Bailey Cole. Larry was blessed to be part of a large, active family of many brothers and sisters, who he loved and valued, preceded by some and survived by many. Larry was well known for his strong work ethic, retail expertise, and can-do attitude. Visitation for family and friends will be Tuesday November 6, 2012 from 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road in Abilene, Texas, immediately followed by a procession to Potosi Cemetery for interment.
