Kenny was born on March 16, 1972 to Don and Mary Ann Paige in Abilene. He graduated from Abilene Cooper High School in 1990. He earned a full scholarship to play baseball for Panola Junior College in Carthage, Texas. After earning his Associates Degree at Panola he went on to study at Texas Tech University graduating in 1996 with a Bachelors Degree. Following in his father's footsteps, Kenny began his career at Red McCombs in San Antonio and later returned to Abilene and worked for his dad at Rocket Olds Cadillac until it sold. He then went to work at Serenity House in Abilene where his concern for caring for others was used to help countless people deal with alcohol and drug addiction. Most recently Kenny worked with his good friend, Mike Morris, in the insulation business.
Kenny was a tender heart who loved animals and never met a cat he did not like. Over the years, he rescued several cats and nursed them back to health. Among his family, he was known as The Cat Whisperer for the special way he was able to bond with them and love them. Kenny's kind heart led to many cats living out their lives in a good home.
Kenny is survived by his parents, Don Paige and Mary Ann Paige; his sister, Kelly Paige of Marble Falls; his brother, Carey Paige of San Antonio and his wife, Korrey; his nephew Austin Fryar and wife Brooke of Big Springs; and nephews Collier and Kamden Paige of San Antonio; aunts Bettsy Paige of Abilene and Denny Deady and husband, Brian, of Magnolia; and uncle Tommy and wife Joyce of Bonham.
