Kenneth Clark

Kenneth James Clark, 76, of Abilene, Texas passed away on November 28, 2024 in Abilene.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on December 5, 2024 at Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Abilene Texas, with David Stephens officiating. Interment will be immediately following at the veteran's cemetery. Services are under the direction of the Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Rd., Abilene, TX.

Kenneth was born in Baird, Texas to Jesse and Joe Clark on July 13, 1948. He grew up in Abilene and graduated from Abilene High School and Hardin Simmons University in Abilene, Texas.

He married Brenda Alexander on August 23, 1974 after serving in the army for four years in the transport division as rank of E5.

Kenneth and Brenda resided in Abilene, Texas were he worked as a driver for Mayflower Moving and Storage, then working for Lockheed Martin on the assembly of the F-16 for four years. He worked for the Texas Prison Systems, then went onto Wheat Energy as a driver, from which he retired.

Kenneth was proceeded in death by his parents, infant son Tommy Clark and one brother Dale Clark.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Brenda, sons Scott Clark of Abilene and David Clark of Lubbock and Laura Wilson of Abilene who was the daughter they never had.

Memorials may be given to Hendricks Hospice Abilene, Texas. The family wishes to thank the doctors and nurses of Hendricks Hospital and Hendricks Hospice for the loving care they provided during Kenneth's fight with cancer, as well as all family and friends who have offered their support.
