Kenneth G. Byrne

Kenneth G. Byrne, 80, of Abilene, Texas died Monday, July 20, 2015 in Windsor, Canada. Born in Butte, South Dakota on October 18, 1934, he was the son of Pauline (Shuck) and William Byrne. He was a mechanical engineer for Sandia Corporation. Kenneth is survived by his wife, Patsy Jeanne Jacobsen Byrne of Abilene; two sons, Joe Byrne and wife Nettie of Ceres, CA and Glenn Byrne and wife Vicky of Livermore, CA; a daughter, Carla Goody and husband Ed of Phoenix, AZ; a sister, Pauline; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother. A memorial service will be held at a later date in California. Cremation arrangements were made by The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road in Abilene.
