Kelly Michelle Paige, 54, of Abilene, passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2023, in Abilene, Texas.

Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, July 20, 2023, at the Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road.

A Memorial Service celebrating Kelly’s life will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, July 21, 2023, at First Central Presbyterian Church, 400 Orange Street, with Dr. Cliff Stewart of First Central Presbyterian Church officiating.

Kelly was born in Dallas to Don and Mary Ann Paige on April 14, 1969.  She graduated from Abilene Cooper High School in 1987.  Kelly started her career as the Assistant Office Manager at the Marble Falls Picayune Newspaper and then spent 17 years as a pharmacy technician at Atkins Pharmacy in Marble Falls.  Most recently Kelly lived in Abilene to be near her parents.

Kelly’s kind heart and compassion was obvious to all who knew her.  Her home was always open to her son’s friends as she was affectionately known as “Mama Kelly” to numerous boys.  Throughout the years, Kelly rescued numerous cats and dogs and gave them the love and care that they needed.  She was also known to give friends a place to live at her house to make sure that they were taken care of, as well.  Kelly’s love for her family was no secret and she enjoyed being near them to share in laughs and adventures.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Kenny Paige.

Kelly was survived by her parents, Don Paige and Mary Ann Paige; her son, Austin Fryar of Leander; her brother, Carey Paige and his wife, Korrey, and nephews, Collier and Kamden of Devine; aunts Bettsy Paige of Abilene and Denny Deady and husband, Brian, of Magnolia; uncle Tommy Thornton of Bonham; cousins Guinness Collins and husband, Brent, and sons Eoghan and Finn, of Magnolia; Amy Sidebottom and husband, Rob, and sons, Bryson and Jack, of Plano; and Lani Maldonado and husband, JD of Joshua.  She is also survived by her many loving friends.
