Keith Thomas

Keith Thomas, of Abilene, 22, died Friday, July 31, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, August 3, 2015 at Ft. Phantom Baptist Church, 11343 South FM 600, Abilene, Texas 79601. Steve Queen and J.W. Raney will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hawley Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Sunday at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road. Keith was born in Midland Texas on April 12, 1993 to Gaston Odell Thomas and Terri Lynn (Bradford) Thomas. He graduated from Hawley High School. He worked as a Correction’s Officer for the Taylor County Sherriff’s Department. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Helen and Ross Bradford and Raymond and Leatha Thomas. Keith is survived by his parents; his fiancée, Amber Pitcher; two brothers, David and Heath Winters, of Abilene; four sisters, Angela Queen and Tracie Hartmann, both of Abilene, Stormi Welch of Wichita Falls, and MaLee Hensler of Clyde; as well as numerous, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. David Winters, Brad Birchum, Craig Haefner, Sgt. André Moore, Gary Goodman and Tyler Goodman will serve as pallbearers.
