Keith was born on October 5, 1952 in Frederick, Oklahoma to Woodrow and Elaine Caddell. He graduated from Frederick High School and Hardin-Simmons University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. Keith and Diana Pitts were married on September 30, 1978 in Tyler, Texas. For over 30 years, they have owned and operated KC Cleaners and West Texas Lawn. Keith was a member of Beltway Park Church. He and Diana loved to travel, especially on cruises with friends and family, and he enjoyed hunting, golfing and playing tennis, but most of all he was a champ at hide and seek! Spending time with family and watching his grandchildren play sports and dance gave Keith great joy.
Keith was preceded in death by his parents Woodrow and Elaine, his sister Karee Roe, brother-in-law John Roe and his parents in law Bill and Yvonne Pitts.
Survivors include his wife Diana of Abilene; two sons, Brian and Elizabeth Caddell, Brandon and Cassidy Caddell, and daughter Kimberly and Case Keenum, grandchildren Graham, Harris, Wynn, Kinslee, Kipton, Collins Caddell, Kyler and Cadence Keenum, and sister Karen Allen and brother-in-law Byron Allen.
Serving as pallbearers will be his nephews, Randy, Ronnie, and John Allen, John Roe, Matt and Blake Lambert, Tim and Jeremy Ables.
Family would request memorials be made to the Big Country Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Love and Care Ministries.
The family of Keith Caddell wishes to extend sincere thanks to all of the family and friends who have loved and supported them during this time as well as the staff at Hendrick Hospice and the many healthcare providers who loved on Keith throughout his care this last year.
