Kay Lynne Seals, 58, died Friday, August 28, 2009, at an Abilene medical center.
The daughter of the late Alice Claudine (Harvell) and Earl Smith Cross, Kay was born on October 7, 1950, in Abilene, Texas. She graduated from Cooper High School and lived most of her life in Abilene. She was booking officer at the Taylor County Jail for ten years and a member of First United Methodist Church in Abilene.
Kay married Jimmy Windell Seals on October 26, 1986 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Kay is survived by her husband, Jimmy Seals of Abilene; son, Jeff Hogue and wife, Tasha, of Tuscola; stepdaughter, Stacy Long and husband, Ryan, of Austin; stepson, Michael Seals of Austin; grandchildren, Destynee Hogue and Spencer Hogue; and step-grandson, Zachary Long, as well as her beloved pets, Paris and Nikki.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 1, at The Hamil Family Funeral Home Chapel, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road in Abilene, with Chaplain Donna Kleman and Mark Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Abilene. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Anthony Joeris, Chris Jennings, Tyson Kropp, Sal D'Amato, Toni Wheeler and Terri Noret.
