Kathryn Irene Jacobsen

1915 — April 28, 2007

Kathryn Jacobsen, 92, died Saturday, April 28, in a local care facility. Visitation will be Monday, April 30, 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road. A funeral service will be Tuesday, May 1st at 2:00 p.m. at Broadview Baptist Church with Reverend David Cason officiating. Burial will be in the Cedar Lawns Memorial Park in Redmond, Washington. Kathryn was born in Seattle, Washington on March 25, 1915 to Lloyd and Irene E. Sullivan Martin. After attending school in Washington, she married Gaylor Jacobsen. Kathryn moved to Abilene from Lacey, Washington in 2004. She was a member of the Broadview Baptist Church. Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. She is survived by two sons; Don Jacobsen and wife, Georgina of Abilene; Dale Jacobsen of Whidbey Island, Washington; two daughters, Patsy Morrison of Abilene; Gail Hoyle and husband, Warren of Issaquah, Washington; one sister, Dorothy Harris of Tampa Bay, Florida. She is also survived by thirty grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
