Karen Dunlap

Karen Hanna Dunlap, 59, of Bay City, Texas, passed away on August 7, 2024, in Abilene, Texas.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, August 11, 2024, at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Rd., with Pastor John Fanning officiating.

Karen was born in Bay City, Texas to Annie Hanna and Elby Hannah on October 12, 1964. She went to school in Bay City, Texas and graduated from Wharton County College. She worked as a Transfusion Supervisor for Hendrick Medical Center for 18 years. 

Karen was preceded in death by her mother, Annie Hanna, brother Billie Neal Hanna, and husband Kenneth Dunlap. 

Karen is survived by children Laura Baxter and William Baxter, Sisters Gracie O’Haver and Patricia Farned, Father Elby Hanna, and grandchild Hannah Favor.
