Judith Linn Shaw

Judith Linn “Judy” Benchoff Shaw, our beloved “Hudy”, passed away peacefully August 10, 2018. A memorial service honoring Judy will be held at a later date.

Judy was born February 7th, 1947 to Winona (Cummings) and John Benchoff.  She married William Shaw on Flag Day, 1984. Judy was preceded in death by her parents, sister Kathy Musgrave and stepson Steve Shaw. Judy is survived by her husband, daughter Kimberly Shahan and husband Keith of Abilene;  grandson and joy of her life, Garrett Shahan of Denton; sister Sandra Hayes and husband Tom of Garland; niece Whitney May and husband Michael of Carrollton; great nephew Maddock May of Addison; brother in law Tom Shaw and wife Evi of San Angelo; stepson Tom Shaw and wife Tina of Indiana; step grandchildren Luke Shaw and wife Amanda of Indiana and Kyla Gonzales and husband Jason of Colorado; step great grandchildren Aubree and Ainslee Shaw and Jr, Kendra and Esperanza Gonzales. Always enthusiastic, Judy enjoyed cooking, traveling and time with her family. Memorials may be given to Rescue the Animals, SPCA or MSAA. The family is thankful for Dr. Hudman and staff, Kindred Hospice especially Nurse Michelle and Mesa Springs for their tender care of Judy.
