Juanita Lucille Traweek

Juanita Traweek, 82, passed away Friday, December 15, 2006 at Mesa Springs Nursing Center. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery. No visitation is scheduled. March 30, 1924, Juanita was born to Dio Graves and Wilma (Capron) Graves in Topeka, Kansas. Mrs. Traweek moved to Abilene in July of 2004 from Santa Rosa, California. She attended Beltway Park Baptist Church, where her daughter and son-in-law are members. Juanita was preceded in death by her first husband of 25 years, Roy Pleasant, and her second husband of 25 years, Claude Traweek. Juanita is survived by four daughters, Sharon and Bob Hvidt, Ellen and Bruce Jackson, Jennice Pleasant and Robin Pleasant; two step-sons, Dave and Tony Traweek; one brother, Gary and Pat Graves; one niece, Barbara Johnson; 17 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
