Joey Alvarez Mariano, 55, passed away peacefully at his place of residence in Cleveland, Ohio on Monday, August 17, 2015. Joey, "Papa J" was a wonderful husband, father, relative, and friend that will be loved and remembered always and never forgotten. His love for the outdoors, fishing, and family BBQ gatherings will always be how we knew him best! Papa J. filled our hearts with unconditional love, joy, laughter, and many wonderful memories we all can look back on and cherish forever. He is survived by his mother; Cecilia Mariano, brother; Ray Mariano, wife; Mary Mariano, and his kids as follows: his two daughters; Kathleen and Brittany Joey Mariano, Melissa, Harry Jr., Sesi, Cindy, Dean, Sheri, Scott, as well as his grandkids as follows: Zoe Mariano, Jasmine, Turtle, Adrian, Abigail, Andrew, Mollie, Lillie, Ashley, Roland, Hagan, Nicholas, Emily, and Summer. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, August 21, 2015 at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Rd. Abilene, TX 79606.
