Joel Sellers

Joe Sellers age 92, of Abilene, Texas, passed away on January 14th in Cibolo, Texas.

Visitation will be 10:00 A.M., to 12:00 P.M. Friday January 17th, 2025 at Hamil Family Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 17th at 2:00 p.m. at the Potosi Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Rd. Abilene, Texas.

 Joe was born in Coryell, County. Texas to J. Ben and Ila Wilson Sellers on June 1st, 1932.  He went to school at Wylie, Texas. He graduated from Wylie High School and took further education courses at Texas A&M. He married Nada Rose Williams on September 21, 1951 in Potosi, Texas. He worked as a manager for A.T.&T for some 40 years.

 Joe was preceded in death by his beloved wife Nada and his youngest son Mark.

Joe is survived by his son Doug and his wife Carmen Sellers, Grandchildren Phillip D. Sellers, Michelle Rodriguez, Katherine Gallegos, and Blair McCoy. Great Grands Archer Gaines, Jett Gaines, Lincoln McCoy, Phillip P. Sellers, Desiree Esparza, Amber Esparza, Jasmine Esparza, and Ezra Esparza. He is also survived by his Sister in law Tommy Lindsey and numerous nephews and nieces.
