Jo Anne Jamison

Mrs. Jo Anne Jamison passed from this life on Monday, August 27, 2018 in Abilene, Texas.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road.  Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Thursday, August 30th at Hillcrest Church of Christ.  Burial will follow in Elmwood Memorial Park.

Jo Anne was born September 17, 1942 in Dallas, Texas to Harry Eugene and Virginia Carlisle Campbell.  She was a former 18-year payroll manager at Abilene Christian University. For the last 12 years, she worked with her husband and son at Allied Parcel and Post / Allied Signs and Frames.  She was a member of Hillcrest Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Eugene (Gene) Campbell of Venus, Texas.

Those left to cherish Jo Anne’s memory are her husband of 54 years, Fred E. Jamison, Jr. daughters, Jerri Lee and Butch Adams of Plano, TX, Jenni Lin and her husband, Ed Priest of Abilene; son, Fred E. Jamison, III and his wife Brenda of Abilene; four grandchildren, Emily Adams and Brandon Monroe of College Station, William and Randi Adams of Dallas, Parker Jamison and Creede Jamison of Abilene.

The family would like to thank the Oaks at Radford Hills Nursing Facility for their special care given to Jo Anne.
