Jessie was born on January 19, 1922 in Fort Worth, Texas.
Her husband, Frank Whittington, preceded her in death.
Jessie is survived by a nephew, Dwight Whittington of Corpus Christi, Texas.
A viewing will be held 12 to 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 11, at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road in Abilene. Graveside services will follow at 2:00 p.m. in Elmwood Memorial Park in the Garden of Gethsemane with Rev. Iziar Lankford officiating.
