Jerry Andrews

Jerry Ray Andrews, 55, of Buffalo Gap, passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2023, in Abilene.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road, Abilene.

Graveside services will be held 5:00 p.m., Thursday, September 14, 2023, at Buffalo Gap Cemetery in Buffalo Gap, with Pastor Josh Fitchett officiating. Services are under the direction of The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road.

Jerry was born in Abilene, Texas to Wilma Darlene (Jones) and Floyd Glenn Andrews on December 24, 1967. He went to school in Abilene and graduated from Cooper High School. He married Sharon Darlene Smith on August 5, 2018 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Jerry was the shop manager at Geneco Technologies. He loved camping, boating, spending time with his family and his Chihuahua Abby.

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Judy Gail Andrews.

Jerry is survived by his wife Sharon of Buffalo Gap; three children, Jasey Evan Andrews of Weatherford, Courtney Lynn Andrews of Denton and Andy Glenn Andrews of Arlington; two stepchildren, Tiffany Mae Woodard of Murfreesboro, TN., and Kyle Waylon Haley of Meridian, MS.; siblings, Randall Glenn Andrews of Galveston and Cindy Kay Landreth of Rule; one grandson, Sam Woodard; also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of extended family members.

Pallbearers will be Jasey Andrews, Andy Andrews, Kyle Haley, Dwayne Landreth, Wade Mize, Robert Dunn and Jerry Vinson.
