At the time of her death, she was a fifty-five year member of the American Chemical Society.
Jeanne was a loving daughter who cared for her parents into advanced years, was a loving sister and sister-in-law, was a staunch friend, was a wonderful aunt to nieces and nephews, and was a loving keeper to her four legged family. She was a quiet philanthropist and a champion of the vulnerable: animals, children, the poor, the persecuted and the disenfranchised. Jeanne was an amateur gemologist, pilot, birder, botanist, and poet. She loved math, fractals, ancient history, mythology, anthropology, religious history, comparative doctrine study, poetry, literature, opera, her computer, study of investment opportunity, nicotine, and Soduku. As a girl Jeanne was confirmed in the Missouri Synod Lutheran Church. Jeanne recently found her church home in the loving community of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church. The family thanks Jackie Roberson, Max Lambert, Mike Burden, Dr. Laura Barber, and Dr. Jim Wilson and staff for their love and friendship to Jeanne through the years. The family thanks Reverend Douglas Dirks of Grace Lutheran Church, the Elders and Minster Phil Ware of Southern Hills Church of Christ, and the staff of Hendrick Medical Center for their loving presence at the time of Jeanne's death.
Jeanne was an intellectual powerhouse. She was quirky, opinionated, loving, resolute, and a most precious child of God.
